Description Pass-It Transit System is a pre-assembled, multi layered Intumescent device encased in a 2 part steel shell. It is designed to prevent thepassage of fire between compartment floors and walls, offering smoke and acoustic isolation whilst still allowing for the easy installation/ removal of services. There are 11 different sizes available depending on the number and size of the services. It can be formed into a modular grid forming an easy route for services. PASS-IT Transit Systems are unaffected by oil, fungus, moisture, vermin, weather and contains no halogens or asbestos. PASS-IT Transit System is a multi layered service transit system designed to accommodate new or existing penetrations. Housed in a metalor composite shell, it has intumescent sachets of aqueous expanding paste liquid. For new builds simply slide the PASS-IT Transit System through the pre-cast / cut aperture, then when ready push the service (cable / pipe) etc through the liquid intumescent. Uses For existing build split the outer case, close the case around the required service, slide into place and fix the lid ensuring that the liquidintumescent pads are central the shell.
