The Monster Rupert - Picture and Story Book with Colour Cut-Outs

Undated [c.1950s]. Pictorial boards with red cloth spine in matching dustwrapper; b/w and colour ills. Slight lean to spine; boards worn to corners; previous owner name to ownership box; tanning and occasional foxing to pages; light marking to page block edges; 125 cut-outs (plus another five to chapter headings/title page) present and uncut. Unclipped dustwrapper is rubbed, creased and torn to edges with several losses to spine ends and corners and a small hole to the spine. Although the cover states 200 cut-outs and the title page lists five stories, this appears to be a later edition published from 1953 onwards in which 'Rupert, the Witch and Tabitha' was omitted and cut-outs reduced.
