Bioactive Herps Clay Springtail Substrate is the ideal substrate for culturing springtails. Clay maintains moisture whilst providing firm ground for the springtails to burrow into more naturally than Coir or Charcoal based substrates. Pour 750ml of water over 1kg of Clay Substrate and leave to soak fo 12 to 24 hours, or hand mix for instant use. Spread around a suitable enclosure to 1-2cm thick, and add Springtails.
